Hello, I'm Vince D, a freelancer who is currently pursuing a degree in Journalism at college. Throughout my life, my passions have consistently revolved around music, video games, and art. Fortunately, my aptitude for writing has enabled me to channel these passions into expressive words, capturing the essence of what makes them so captivating. To provide a platform for showcasing my work, I have independently designed and launched this personal website (Founded 5/18/2023).

Why is this called 3rd Street Journal?

 The name is a reference to my favorite video game of all time - Saints Row 2. The Saints, the fictional gang your player is a part of, are in a fictional city called Stilwater. They started out in an abandoned church on a street called 3rd Street and their goal was to remove all of the other gangs and take over the city for themselves. Many characters are played by iconic actors and actresses such as Keith David, Daniel Dae Kim, and Mila Kunis. The game was released back in 2008, and while I wouldn't discover the franchise till the early to mid 2010's, without a doubt it has shaped my love and deep love for gaming and music. Saints Row 1 & 2 are undeniably the best open world games of the 2000's and their influence still has a clear effect today.
